Tea for immunity
The immune system is a complex network of cells and protein that defends the body against infection. The immune system keeps a record of every germ (a microbe) it has ever defeated so it can recognize and destroy the microbe quickly if it enters the body again.
One of the ways to help support your immune system is to have enough healthy drinks. You can naturally boost your immune system with herbal teas.
Rosemary Tea
Rosemary is a rich source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which are thought to help boost the immune system and improve blood circulation. It’s known to boost alertness and focus. Rosemary can help improve memory performance and quality. Rosemary has a warm, bitter taste and smell. It is a good source of iron, calcium and vitamins A, B6 and C.
Rosemary is safe when taken in low doses, if consumed in very large doses it can lead to side effects.
Rosemary boosts the immune system. With the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 we could all use a boost to our immune system. If you have a weak immune response, the invading virus or bacteria spreads way easier and faster in your body. If you have a robust immune response, you might not even notice you are sick. Rosemary improves circulation when feeling tired and lethargic. It also helps keep your mood stable.
Rosemary protects the brain. During the day we absorb toxins from our environment, as well as the food and beverages we drink. These toxins accumulate in the digestive system and bloodstream. The blood carries the toxins to the brain where they start to choke up neural pathways making you feel tired.
Natural ingredient in rosemary is canonic acid. This compound fights off free radical damage in the brain and helps it clear off toxins accumulated during the day.
Rosemary tea is known to help with digestive problems.
It is recommended that drinking three cups of this tea a day will help any digestive problems that you may be having.
You will need:
- 2-3 tsp rosemary leaves ( 1 tbsp dried)

Directions:
- Steep the rosemary in a cup for about 5 minutes or longer. The longer you leave it the stronger the tea will be.
- If you are using fresh leaves, then you can leave them in while you drink
- You can add honey and lemon juice. The choice is yours.
