My History and Philosophy:
I was raised in Lithuania, a small country near the Baltic Sea, at the end of World War II. My family, like so many people at this time, had little food and making a living was very difficult. My parents started to raise animals (cows, pigs, and chickens), in order to feed our family. While I was in school, I was always thinking of ways to help make life better for everyone in our country.
I became a scientist-agronomist, earning a PhD in Agriculture. While working with the new technology in agribusiness, the government ruled that each farm must use chemicals and pesticides to make the most productive crop. For over 20 years, I was an excellent employee for the Lithuanian government, as a chief Agronomist in Agribusiness.
This was only one side of my life. Although I was successful in my work, it did not make me happy and fulfilled. Due to a lack of nutrition and a diet mostly of meat and dairy products, I was very ill since my birth. Later in life, my body was poisoned by chemicals in the food.
Before I came to the U.S., while I was working as a scientist at the Institute of Horticulture, I started a new program. It was based on my idea that “Healthy Soil = Healthy Plants = Healthy People.” My co-worker would tease me, saying “How are you going to make money without chemicals and fertilizer?” At this time, there was no internet and information about organic gardening was scarce. I obtained a visa to go to the United States as a scientist, to find more information.
While visiting Rodele Institute, I received information about organic gardening. Over the last 18 years in the U.S., I have been educated as a Natural Health Consultant, became an Energy Healer and a Certified Health Coach. I believe that Nutrition, Life Style, Clean Water and Environment, and Spirituality is the Path to Good Health!
Working in a rehabilitation center, I saw firsthand how people are suffering from illness. I continued to observe many people at garden club, square dancing, at church and elsewhere with health problems. I now realize that with my life experience and education, I can use my gifts to help other people to reach their goals, have good relationships, and enjoy life. I want to help others understand that they are more powerful than any circumstance they could encounter. One of our eternal freedoms is the choice we have to decide.
